LUNCH ATOP A SKYSCRAPER

The photograph shows eleven steel workers, seated on a beam located 256 meters high, and having a leisurely lunch. In that time workers don't have any security syste.
The snapshot was captured on September 29 in 1932, during the construction of the RCA Building, one of the buildings that are part of the Rockefeller Center complex in New York. The photo is taken at the heigh of the 69th floor.
For a long time the name of the photographer was unknown. In 2003, through evidence provided by his family, Charles C.Ebbets was identified as its author
